I love working from home. It does have it challenges though. Like staying focused when things around the house that need to be done are staring at you. So I started experimenting with diffuser blends that help my brain stay on track. This is my favorite one so far and I call it “Own Your Work Day.”

Peppermint and Orange have become my two favorite single oils to combine with almost any other Young Living single oil or blend. Peppermint helps to wake me up and focus and Orange is just one of my most favorite uplifting scents.

Highest Potential is another great blend that I love for helping me accomplish all the tasks that go along with my job. Highest Potential is a Young Living blend containing Jamine, Ylang Ylang, Frankincense, Galbanum, Cedarwood, and Sandalwood. All of which are powerful emotional support oils.

Do you have a favorite oil, blend or combination that you like to diffuse when you are working?

Most mornings my brain wakes up thinking about all the things I need to get done on my to-do list. It makes it hard to focus during my morning quiet and prayer time when you’re brain doesn’t want to shut off the looming task list. So I decided to make up a little roller bottle with a blend of some essential oils to help me focus. I roll it over my heart and I’m amazed at how much it helps!

Frankincense is known to increase spiritual awareness and personally I find my prayer times to be better when I use Frankincense. It also contains sesquiterpenes, which stimulate the limbic system of the brain and the hypothalamus, pineal, and pituitary glands.

I’m loving the combination of Highest Potential with extra Frankincense in the mornings when I have my quiet time before my day gets started.

Some days we all need a little extra help getting going or motivated to knock things off our to-do lists. I’m a task oriented person, but I can also be a procrastinator if it’s a task I don’t enjoy. I’m also slow and if a good book is calling my name I’d much rather be reading. So on days when I have a lot that needs to get done I love using the blend Motivation. One of my favorite combinations to diffuse is Peppermint, Orange & Motivation.

Peppermint is great for stimulating the mind and helps with alertness!

For me, Orange is one of the most uplifting scents! It’s also a great source of Limonene!

Motivation is a Young Living blend that stimulates feelings of action and accomplishment. The first time I tried it I went into it completely skeptical it would help in any way. Before I knew it, though, I had accomplished a lot of tasks that needed to get done, but that I don’t enjoy. Motivation is a blend of Roman Chamomile, Spruce, Ylang Ylang, and Lavender.

I just tried #YoungLiving Cinnamon Bark Vitality dietary #EssentialOil in my morning fruit #smoothie! Yum!!! Will definitely be adding a drop of it in my smoothies more often!

Here’s my morning smoothie recipe: 1/4 c chopped pineapple
1 or 2 mandarin oranges
1 apple sliced and chopped
1 tsp-1 tbsp chia or flax seeds (optional)
3 slices frozen peaches
1/4 c ice

Blend in blender until smooth.
Add 1 drop Vitality Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil and pulse for a few seconds.
Enjoy!
